For many years the Kaiserfrühling, emperor spring, is one of the most important events in Quedlinburg. It is celebrated on Easter and Whitsunday in reference to Quedlinburg as the cradle of Germany. The event is linked to the era of the Ottonian and Salien dynasty a thousand years ago. Quedlinburg was the place where the german kings and emperors used to celebrate Easter and other important events. Every year thousands of visitors come to see the walk of the Ottonian Rulers. That is what we call: Experience living history at first hand.
