On your walk through the city you will recognize the gothic churches: St. Aegidii in the north of the Old Town, St. Benedikti close to the city market, St. Nikolai in the new town and St. Blasii in the Old Town. First they were mentioned in historical documents from the 12th and 13th century. The buildings constitute a beautiful contrast to the Romanesque Churches in the city.
